When RockShox launched the Pike in 2013, it became the benchmark for trail, all mountain and enduro forks with its appearance.
To keep it that way, the guys from California gave her a diet, filled the new Charger 2.1 RC2 damper with Maxima Plush Damping Fluid and given her revised "Ultimate" decals. Last but not least, the DebonAir air spring was completely trimmed for performance and, as far as possible, freed from unnecessary friction. This creates more traction and perfect control on the trail in every situation.
Thanks to the BOOST-only concept of the fork, the result is a very stiff and light chassis with perfect steering precision and low weight.


DebonAir
It's ok to be soft. The DebonAir technology has an extremely low breakaway torque in order to work as sensitively as possible from the start. The first third of the suspension travel is designed to be particularly soft in order to be able to use the rest as linearly as possible and to swallow small bumps perfectly even in the middle suspension travel range. All of this together creates more traction and control.

Solo Air
The negative and positive air chambers are only filled at the same time by means of one valve. Which makes it much easier to adjust your personal set-up.

Charger 2.1 RC2
The Charger 2.1 damping cartridge is a completely new design with reduced internal friction and a new damper tune. It reduces hand / arm muscle fatigue and ensures even more self-confidence and control on the trail.
With a smoother transition to high-speed compression (HSC), the revised shim stack reduces the effects of fast impacts and hard braking waves. For you, that means more control and less fatigue. The improved adjustment range of the Low-Speed-Compression (LSC) allows the fork to stand higher in the travel and you can use more travel. So you keep every terrain under control, in quick succession.

Maxle Stealth
Very light thru axle which can be mounted and removed with a 6 mm hexagon socket. In addition to a clean look, it also saves a little weight on the unsprung mass.

Bottomless tokens
Allows individual adjustment of the air chamber size. This enables you to adapt the spring characteristics of your fork perfectly to your riding style.

BOOST
An axle type with a width of 110 mm and a 15 mm thru axle. The hub body, which has been widened by 10 mm, allows flatter spoke angles and thus enables a stable and stiff wheel.

Torque Caps
Torque Caps reinforce the connection between the hub and the fork dropout by increasing the surface area that connects the two. This creates a stronger and stiffer interface that gives you better feedback and more control. So you can concentrate on the most important connection: the one between your bike and the trail.
