Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tire that rolls incredibly fast, cuts through corners with precision and, if necessary, decelerates accordingly. The starting point for this was the profile of the Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II and designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.
In the DH version, the DISSECTOR is ideal as a rear tire, whether for racing or in the bike park. The trail version also makes sense on the front wheel if you want a front wheel tire that rolls easily and has good grip.

WIDE TRAIL CASING
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tire shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and get a too square shape on wide rims and thus a less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an internal rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an internal dimension between 30 and 39 mm. The following MTB tire widths are available in WT construction: 2.40WT / 2.50WT / 2.60WT wide tires always have a WT construction, but no WT marking on the tire sidewall.

EXO+ PROTECTION
The new EXO+ construction combines two of their best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO.
The SilkShield layer wraps the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, the EXO+ results in the following advantages: 27% better puncture protection on the tread / 51% more stable sidewall / 28% more puncture protection compared to our proven, stable EXO carcass. Tires with EXO+ Protection are built for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and are especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs.
